·           Akhiran t menunjukkan angka puluhan.

·           Dalam bilangan pokok pada bahasa Inggris digunakan koma, sedangkan pada bahasa Indonesia digunakan titik.

Contoh :

·      Inggris : 2,345,670

·      Indonesia : 2.345.670

Sedangkan untuk bilangan desimal adalah sebaliknya.

Contoh :

·      Inggris : 2.5

·      Indonesia : 2,5.

2. Ordinal Number (Bilangan Tingkat)

Misalnya : Pertama, kedua, ketiga...

5^th           = fifth

8^th           = eighth

9^th           = ninth

10^th         = tenth

3. Fraction Numbers (Bilangan Pecahan)

½             = a half

¼             = a quarter/a fourth

1/3         = a third

2/3         = two third

3/5         = three fifth

2 2/5      = two and two fifth

5 2/5      = five and two fifth

32 1/4    = thirty two and a forth

Decimal :

2.5 = two point five.

52.35 = fifty two point three five. (Bukan : fifty two point thirty five)

4.58 = four point five eight. (Bukan : four point fifty eight)

4. Multiplicative Numbers

1x = Once

2x = twice

3x = three times

4x = four times

...x... = ...times

5. Simple Arithmatic

How much is 2 x 4?

3 5 = 8 (three plus five is eight)

6 - 3 = 3 (six minus three is three)

4 x 3 = 12 (four times three is twelve)

8 : 2 = 4 (eight divided by two is four)
